Christmas Caroling at East Troy Manor
After joint service with Troy Center United Methodist Church, both congregations provided Christmas cheer to the residents at East Troy Manor. After a full morning of worship and song, we enjoyed a soup supper provided by TCUMC and delicious desserts provided by LPUMC.
Every Sunday through November 23rd, 2025 the church will be collecting winter clothing and essential items for the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. After service and fellowship on the 23rd, volunteers will sort all the items collected and get it ready for delivery.
Members of the congregation served meals to both Troy Center and Kettle Moraine Fire District during their regularly scheduled business meetings. It was an honor to show our appreciation to the men and women who provide our communities such an invaluable service.
We are continuing our 5 week study group on Wednesdays at 10AM and 7PM using Max Lucado's book "Anxious for Nothing." This study from Paul's letter to the Philippian Christians in the New Testament helps us to deal with the anxieties and uncertainties that challenge us. In this age of change and conflict we need a way to ground our lives so that we can live with confidence and hope in our anxiety-driven culture.
